16th June 2008, 8:17 AM by Eric M. Zeman This
latest slider from Sony Ericsson targets the youth market and is
focused on providing an enriched gaming experience. It carries
quad-band GSM/EDGE radios, as well as stereo Bluetooth and an FM radio.
The F305 has what Sony Ericsson calls Motion Gaming. Similar to the
Nintendo Wii, it is sensitive to movement, and will allow users to
flick or swing the phone to interact with games, such as bowling or
fishing. Sony Ericsson says developers are working on a wide range of
2D and 3D games for the device that will be available later this year.
It has dedicated gaming buttons, stereo speakers, and has two different
covers to personalize the phone. The F305 also comes with a 2 megapixel
camera, supports Memory Stick Micro for storage, and media playback. It
will be available in select markets in the fourth quarter.

16th June 2008, 7:51 AM by Eric M. Zeman Today
Sony Ericsson introduced two new camera phones. Shared features of the
C905 and S302 include nearly identical multimedia playback options,
including stereo Bluetooth and FM radios. Both are quad-band GSM/EDGE,
with the C905a adding tri-band 850/1900/2100 UMTS/HSDPA for 3G
services. They will be available in select markets beginning in the
fourth quarter.
- C905: This addition to the Cyber-Shot lineup is SE's first
slider to bear that name and packs an 8.1 megapixel camera with
autofocus, Xenon flash, face detection, image stabilizer, red-eye
reduction, video stabilizer and video light. Because the C905 comes
with GPS, you can also geo-tag photos with location information. The
C905 also has Wi-Fi, the NetFront Access HTML browser, and supports
video calling and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. The screen measures
2.4 inches, and will auto-rotate between landscape and portra

Sony Ericsson took the wraps off of two, new bar-style phones. Both
come in two dual-band configurations, each with a GSM 850/1900 variant
for the U.S. market. They share only a few features, one of which being
what Sony Ericsson calls the torch function. This mode brightens the
display, acting like a flashlight of sorts, in order to help the user
move around and find things in the dark.
- K330: This camera-centric phone has a VGA shooter and enough
on-board memory to hold 250 images or up to 12 minutes of video. It
comes with an FM radio, Bluetooth, WAP browser and has a 1.7-inch
screen. The K330 will come in gold or green on black, and will be
available in the third quarter.
- J132: This is a simple phone loses the camera and browser,
but its FM radio supports RDS. The radio can be played via the speaker
and it has a radio clock alarm, allowing you to set ala
