has said that in order to focus on providing LTE networking equipment
to is cellular network customers, it will reduce its investment in
designing and manufacturing WiMAX equipment. It has signed an agreement
with Alvarion, which will partner with Nortel on creating a complete
WiMAX solution for their network customers moving forward. This will
free up Nortel's research and development resources to concentrate

International has selected Sprint's Mobile Broadband to serve as the
network connection between its jukeboxes and its online library of
downloadable music. Patrons at bars and restaurants that have Rowe
jukeboxes will be able to download new music to the jukebox via
Sprint's network. This will allow said establishments to install
jukeboxes without having to wire them to the Internet. more at Sprint »

- Dare: This bar-style touch-based device carries a 3.2
megapixel camera that has improved video recording capabilities. It
will have photo editing software, as well as direct access to social
networking sites. It will be able to use to Verizon's EVDO network and
V CAST services, but LG was short on providing more details.
- Decoy: This slider phone has a built-in, removable Bluetooth
headset that is incorporated into the phone's design. The headset will
charge when it is stored in the phone. It has a five-way joystick for
navigation, and has incorporated GPS. It will be available June 16.
