Several new images and a video of the upcoming LG Dare VX9700 were
spotted today on Howard Forums. Information is still sketchy, but the
Dare will come with a 240x400 pixel touch-screen, new user interface (as we've previously reported),
3.5mm headset jack, HTML browser, 3.2MP autofocus camera with flash,
Bluetooth 2.0, microUSB port, and support for microSDHC memory cards up
to 8GB in size. Expect the Dare to be released during the first half of
July.

6th June 2008, 7:40 AM by Eric M. Zeman FCC
Chairman Kevin Martin has decided to delay a vote on a new AWS auction
that was to take place on June 12. One reason he cited for delaying the
vote was to give the FCC's commissioners more time to review the idea.
This auction plans to sell a 25MHz slice of spectrum with the provision
that the winner provider free wireless broadband to certain percentages
of the country over time. The delay on the vote will be at least one
month. The auction could still be approved as early as July, with the
rules put into place by August, and the auction itself taking place
before the end of 2008. more at Reuters »
