9) You name your phones and bury them in your own little cell phone graveyard when they die.

8) You plan your driving routes, where you live and where your work around dead spots.

7) Your first question on a first date is, “Who is your cell phone provider?” Depending on the answer, there may or may not be a second date.

6) You can send a text message behind your back with your left hand while taking a geometry test with 98.7% accuracy….and still get a B+ on the test.

5) You occasionally hear your phone ringing even when it isn’t (also known as phantom ringing).

4) When you leave your cell phone at home, it's a major emergency that requires you to turn around and endure an hour of extra rush hour traffic to retrieve it.

he Top Ten Cell Phone Ringtones

By Cristopher Fowers

10. Candy Shop - 50 Cent

This hit from 50 Cent will be on all of the top ringtone lists this year and can be purchased for $2.99. It's available in realtone and polyphonic tone formats on Mixxer, RingToneJukeBox and Jamster.

9. Spongebob Squarepants Theme (Movie Version)

Against all odds, Spongebob Squarepants has become a world-renowned cartoon and one of Hollywood's power figures-so, why not a Ringtone? This realtone ringtone is available on Mixxer.

8. Laffy Taffy - D4L

The accompaniment to this Hip Hop song sounds like it was meant to be a ringtone. It has both the realtone and polytone renditions and is available on Mixxer, RingToneJukeBox and Jamster.

7. Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd

There are many renderings of "Sweet Home Alabama" in polytones format, but none seem to do Lynyrd Skynyrd justice. The realtone is available on Jamster-accept no imitations.

6. Super Mario Brothers (Theme)

Despite the introduction of the Game Cube, Playstation and X-Box, there's something about the classics. And it doesn't get anymore classic than Super Mario Brothers when it comes to video games. There are many versions of this polytone, preview them on Mixxer and RingToneJukeBox.

5. Anything From Paramount's “Tommy Boy”

Absolutely hilarious-everyone within earshot of your phone will laugh, or at least crack a smile, when your phone rings. RingToneJukeBox provides the audio from all of your favorite “Tommy Boy” scenes including “you're a naughty pet .,” “here comes the meat wagon ...” and “they have a thin candy shell .”

4. Halloween (Movie Theme)

Nothing puts the spook in Halloween like a scary tone. You'll find the bloodcurdling sounds of the hypnotizing beat and deep organ of the theme song from “Halloween” on RingToneJukeBox.

3. Lovers and Friends - Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz Featuring Usher and Ludacris

The smooth sound of this realtone, R&B bestseller can be found on RingToneJukeBox and Jamster.

2. Exorcist Theme (Tubular Bells)

This mystifying polyphonic tone combines synthesized base, a bell melody and piano chords to create a braid of chills. You'll find it on Jamster.

1. Mission Impossible (Movie Theme)

Though there are as many ringtone versions of this popular tune as there are Mission Impossible movies, by far the best one is by Dream Theater found on Mixxer. A close to normal rrrrring leads into a tune with deep-base rhythm and trumpet-like melody that will bring the secret agent out in you.
